The Freehold Center Management Corporation d/b/a DowntownFreehold.com is pleased to announce the start of the DowntownFreehold.com Trolley on Wednesday July 11, 2018.
The ceremonial inaugural run of the DowntownFreehold.com Trolley will be on Wednesday July 11, 2018 at 11:45 a.m. with public service starting at 12:00 p.m.
“With the support and approvals from our governmental partners, the Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders, the Superior Court of New Jersey- Monmouth Vicinage, the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office, and the Borough of Freehold we are excited to start the DowntownFreehold.com Trolley Service between the Monmouth County Courthouse and two stops in Downtown Freehold.” said Jeffrey Friedman, Executive Director, Freehold Center Management Corporation d/b/a DowntownFreehold.com.
The Trolley Service will run, initially for 6 weeks, every Wednesday continually between the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. The Trolley will make three stops; 1. At the Bus Stop near the rear of the Western Side of the Monmouth County Courthouse; 2. At the corner of Sheriff Street and East Main Street; 3. At the corner of Court Street and East Main Street. It is anticipated that this loop route will take approximately 15 minutes to complete providing users reliable service between the Monmouth County Courthouse and Downtown Freehold.
This Trolley will facilitate transportation of the public, court users, volunteers, and staff to and from the Courthouse providing quick access to Downtown Freehold for lunch or other downtown activities during the lunch break.
This service is coordinated by DowntownFreehold.com and sponsored by CTC Transportation Insurance Service in Freehold Borough and Shore Luxury Limo in Wall.
