These changes apply to all exterior changes to a building or improvement in the district including signs, storefronts design, fences, and facades. Please review before undertaking any project that effects the exterior of your property or business.

Assemble at 12:00pm; Parade Steps off at 1:00pm. from McLean Street to Elks Point.

The Freehold Borough Arts Council presents the 10th FBAC Freehold St. Patrick’s Day Parade with the help of the Ancient Order of Hibernia’s,
Freehold Elks Lodge, The Colombian Club/Knights of Columbus and many more organizations.

Irish Week

Celebrate your inner Irish with a week of St. Patrick Day festivities: The Freehold Borough Arts Council (FBAC) St. Patrick’s Day Parade, a specially themed Flavor of Freehold event, Bagpipers, and the Pub Crawl!

Food Truck Festival

In support of the United Way of Monmouth & Ocean Counties. This event showcases Food Trucks from around the region and entertainment for all ages.

Thursday’s Rock!

Our Thursdays Rocks! Summer Concert Series, produced in association with CentraState Healthcare Service, features widely known groups and local talent that attract audiences from the greater Freehold area and beyond. Shows start at 7:30 p.m.

Family Movie Night

Family Movie Night Family Movie Night at the Hall of Records features timeless movies for all ages. From newer releases, to throwback movies from the 70’s, 80’s, & 90’s watching movies under the stars has never been so much fun. Remember to bring your lawn chairs and blankest.

Live Street Music

Live Street Music Performances every Friday and Saturday Night at The Gazebo (10 East Main Street), and The Performance Plaza (27-29 West Main Street), next to Suite 23 Barbershop

Farmer’s Market

The Farmer’s Market is a fantastic community event for all to benefit from. We bring Jersey Fresh vendors right to the center of town every Friday 11am – 4pm in front of the Hall of Records! Buy sun-ripened, freshly picked fruits and vegetables directly from the farmers who grow them. Farmer’s Market starts Friday July 3rd – October from 11:00AM – 4:00PM

Fall Concert Series

Join us on Wednesdays in September and October for’s outdoor Fall Concert Series produced in association with CentraState Healthcare System and OceanFirst Bank, hosted in front of the Hall of Records in Downtown Freehold. Shows start at 7:30 p.m.

Fall Flavor of Freehold

In Support of the Freehold Municipal Alliance to Prevent Substance Abuse. A unique tour of Downtown Freehold’s venerable restaurants, bars, and shops held over two days. Participants walk from place to place with their “Passport” used as a guide of where to go. Everyone will receive signature samples from some of Freehold’s most loved establishments. $20.00 per person (Tickets will be sold on our website)

County Seat Jazz &Blues Street Fest

Another great year for our exciting event, as we close off a section of West Main Street with Stages and Vendors lining the curbs.  Listen to extraordinary musicians while enjoying great food.

Latino Festival of Monmouth County

Presented by The Latino Coalition of Monmouth County,  This family function has become a staple event in Downtown Freehold with music, entertainment, contests, food vendors, giveaways and much, much more! The audience grows every year and we continue to welcome more.

African Arts Festival

The African Diaspora Arts Festival was organized by members of the community who desired to share the culture of the African diaspora. The organizers use of the title “African Diaspora” in the progressive spirit that we all are connected to Africa. The event will focus on the arts. our culture, entrepreneurship, unity for the whole family.
